Refund policy

We want you to absolutely fall in love with your handmade treasure. But if something isn't giving you major main-character energy, don't sweat it. We offer a 30-day return window from the date your order arrives at your door.

1. What Can Be Returned?

To be eligible for a return:

  • Your item must be unused, unworn, and in the exact same condition you received it.

  • It must be in its original packaging (pouch, tags, or box intact).

  • Note: Because our pieces are handcrafted by real human hands in Kenya and across Africa, minor natural variations in wood, brass, stone, or shell are part of the charm and not defects!

Non-Returnable Items:

  • Final sale / clearance items

  • Gift cards

  • earrings (for hygiene reasons)

2. How to Start a Return

  1. Shoot us an email at mena@zurihandicrafts.com with your order number and the item(s) you’d like to send back.

  2. We’ll send you a prepaid return shipping label along with instructions on where to send your package.

  3. Shipping Fee: A flat $6.00 return label fee will be deducted from your final refund amount to help cover return postage. (Prefer store credit? We’ll waive the shipping fee so you get 100% of your money back to pick something else!)

3. Refunds & Processing

  • Once your return lands back at our studio, we’ll inspect it and send you an email confirmation.

  • If approved, your refund will automatically process back to your original payment method within 5–7 business days (depending on your bank).

4. Damaged or Defective Items?

We pack every item with love, but if the mail carrier got a little too aggressive and your item arrives damaged, let us know within 48 hours of delivery.

Send a quick picture of the damaged item and packaging to mena@zurihandicrafts.com, and we will ship out a replacement immediately or issue a full refund on us, zero hassle.

5. Exchanges

The fastest way to swap your item for another showstopper is to return the original item for store credit and place a new order online.
